The Ministry of Local Government in cooperation with the National Coordinator against Domestic Violence have organized a joint meeting within the campaign for the elimination of violence against women “16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based”

Deputy Ministers of MLG Mrs. Emini and Mrs. Shkodra have participated in the joint meeting organized by the MLG and the National Coordinator against Domestic Violence Mr. Florian Dushi within the campaign “16 Days of Activism against gender-based violence”, and together with the Municipal Officers for Gender Equality, the promotion of gender equality and cooperation of institutions for the prevention of domestic violenc, was discussed.

In this meeting was also reaffirmed once again the readiness of the MLG for support and cooperation to promote the rights and role of women in Kosovo and also information on the mechanisms of the MLG in order to ensure equal gender representation in municipalities and ministries was shared.
