The Ministry of Local Government Administration, on June 30, 2017, in front of information officers and municipal IT officials as well as the representatives from non-governmental organizations, presented the project "Re-designing of municipal websites and the telepresence (testing phase) and the presentation of the concept paper for government communication (local level).
Secretary General of MLGA, Rozafa Ukimeraj, thanking the participants for the contribution given during the year regarding the process of the re-design of the websites of the municipalities and telepresence, emphasized that progress has been made in the finalization of the project, where the main purpose in this regard is the strengthening and advancement of transparency in municipalities.
Along the one-day workshop, was made the presentation of the component for the re-design of municipal websites by representatives of CACCTUS Company, where the participants had the opportunity to present their proposals in order to enrich and finalize the websites. Also, in addition, was presented the project "solution and IT in municipalities" from the beginning phase to the current state.
Discussions were conducted mainly on how to populate the web site with data and information, and the manner of integration of documents from the old web pages into the new ones, about training of IT and information officials regarding the manner of how to use the new website, as well as the website design modalities, so that the access of citizens to the website be easier and more understandable.
At the end of the workshop, the participants were satisfied with the work done and asked that the given comments and suggestions to be included in the final design of the model of the websites of municipalities.
