The Department on performance and municipal transparency, in financial support of the OSCE, on 26.06.2014, has finished the workshop with the subject “Strengthening of transparency and best administrative practices for the access to public documents." The Department on performance and municipal transparency, in financial support of the OSCE, on 26.06.2014, has finished the workshop with the subject “Strengthening of transparency and best administrative practices for the access to public documents." During the workshop were presented responsible officials of MLGA, where they discussed about the transparency at the municipalities, the right of access to public documents, publication of municipal acts, meetings of municipalities as well as about the Action Plan for Transparency in the municipalities.
At the workshop held in Gjilan/Gnjilane (with the participation of the region of Gjilan/Gnjilane and Ferizaj/Urosevac) have participated representatives of municipalities: Gjilan/Gnjilane, Kamenica, Ferizaj/Urosevac, Viti/Vitinna, Shtime/Stimlje, Shterpce/Strpce and Novoberda/Novo Brdo, Ranilluk, Partesh, Klokot, Kaçanik and Hani i Elezit/General Jankovic. Present at the meeting were 32 participants, including directors of administration, legal officers, officials of information and chiefs of cabinet of the mayor of municipality, representatives of MLGA and OSCE.
The meeting was chaired by Avni Sahiti, Head of Department for Transparency and Performance – MLGA, where did the presentation "Responsibilities of MLGA and the role of transparency in the municipalities". While the subject, “The right of access to public documents; meetings and the municipal assembly meetings and Action Plan for Transparency" was presented by Nazmije Krasniqi.

Meanwhile, Christopher Tuetsch from OSCE presented the OSCE activity about transparency in the municipalities.
This workshop has closed the cycle of workshops held in the regions of the Republic of Kosovo in the field of transparency and access to public documents.
