Today working Group for drafting the concept paper for the capital city ‘Prishtina’ of the Republic of Kosovo held of the second meeting, according to MALG legislative agenda for 2014.
The meeting was chaired by Ms. Flutura Hoxha Head of Division for Development and harmonization of legislation, she informed the participants about the concept document, the steps that will be taken to further develop this concept document.
In the meeting also participated the Mayor of Prishtina Mr. Shpend Ahmeti, who greeted the work of the Working Group and expressed readiness to cooperate through its representatives in the working group.
Also the Head of the Legal Department and Municipal Monitoring Mr. Agron Maxhuni said that working group will be supported on advancing the concept paper.
In the end the group agreed upon on the inputs that will be taken by representatives of the Municipality of Prishtina, the work should continue on a workshop and the group should expand with other stakeholders that have an impact on local government.
