The Ministry of Local Government Administration, in cooperation with the Office on Publication of the Official Gazettewithin the Office of the Prime Minister and the support of the USAID’s Partnership for Development program (USAID PFD) has held the second workshop with municipal officials from 03d to 05th of February on the issue the publication of municipal sub-legal acts in the Official Gazette.
During this workshop, the municipal officials were trained on how to use the system of the Official Gazette of the Republic of Kosovo. The sub-legal acts (statutes and regulations) were published in the Official Gazette by 14 participating municipalities: Prishtinë/Priština, Gjakovë/Djakovo, Glogoc/Glogovac, Skenderaj, Suharekë/Suva Reka, Prizren, Mamushë/Mamuša, Deqan/Dečan, Klinë/Klina, Vushtrri/Vučitrn, Obiliq/Obilić, Rahovec/Orahovac, Malishevë/Mališevo and Dragash/Dragaš.
This was the second workshop out of three that were planned in total. The purpose of these three planned workshops is to publish all the confirmed municipal sub-legal acts in the Official Gazette in order to fulfil the legal obligation and promote municipal transparency.
