Ministry of Local Government, supported by OSCE realized meeting with members and heads of the sectoral commissions, established by the Government Decision no. 2 / 119, for supervising the legality of municipal acts about functioning and effectiveness of commissions in the review of municipal acts arising from own competencies, enhanced and delegated.
At the meeting in question, were held several presentations by the representatives of MLGA, concerning:
• Methodology of examining the legality of municipal acts,
• legal basis, the number and composition of sectoral commissions,
• Number of acts, addressed to sectoral commissions, as well as
• Number of responses received by sectoral commissions
During and after the presentations, were presented a series of questions and answers for the content of presentations and the manner of so far functioning, of the committees in question, where was developed a fruitful discussion on clarifying of competencies and functionalization of committees in general.
