As part of the process for drafting the Strategy for Local Self-Government (SLSG) 2027-2031, a working meeting was held between the representative of the thematic subgroup for digitization, innovation and modernization of the local administration, Mr. Flurim Arifi, and the expert engaged by the Council of Europe, Mrs. Veronica Cretu.
During the meeting, the further development of Strategic Objective 4 was discussed, with a focus on the digital transformation of municipalities, the advancement of electronic services, the concept of smart cities, innovation and modernization of local administration.
The discussion was also focused on defining and harmonizing the proposed objectives, indicators and measures, so that the strategic document reflects the real needs of municipalities and contemporary developments in the field of digital governance.
The SLSG 2027-2031 drafting process is being developed through inter-institutional cooperation and consultation with experts and partners, with the aim of creating an applicable strategic framework and oriented towards improving the quality and accessibility of local public services.
