The team of the Ministry of Local Government Administration (MLGA) has continued to carry out municipal visits, in order to strengthen the cooperation and provide support to local institutions. As part of these activities, the MLGA team paid a visit to the Municipality of Novoberdo, where important issues in the field of international cooperation and inter-municipal cooperation were discussed, as well as opportunities for the development of joint projects in the interest of citizens.
The participants were welcomed in the meeting by the Chairman of the Municipal Assembly, the Deputy Chairman of the Assembly, representatives of the Office for Communities and European Integration (OCEI), as well as officials from other relevant fields.
From the MLGA in the meeting participated: Shehide Krasniqi, Head of the Division for Inter-Municipal Cooperation, Vjosa Shehu from the Division for International Municipal Cooperation, and Lulavera Hashani from the Division for Inter-Municipal Cooperation.
During the meeting, the contribution to the improvement of public services and the development of joint projects for the benefit of citizens was discussed, as well as the increase in the participation of municipalities in international projects and programs, and the exchange of experiences and good practices between municipalities.
MLGA will continue holding other visits to municipalities, providing institutional support and deepening inter-institutional cooperation.
