The Ministry of Local Government Administration (MLGA), in cooperation with the Association of Kosovo Municipalities (AKM) and the Independent Oversight Board for the Civil Service of Kosovo (IOBCSK), and with the support of the OSCE Mission in Kosovo, organized a one-day workshop on the topic of “Human Resource Management”.
The workshop addressed important issues regarding the development of administrative procedures between municipalities and the IOBCSK, with particular emphasis on common cases involving complaints about candidate recruitment and selection procedures.
Discussions during the workshop also covered the formation and functioning of commissions for managerial and professional staff positions, as well as other matters relevant to local-level public administration.
Representatives from the Independent Oversight Board for the Civil Service of Kosovo provided clarifications regarding the challenges and situations municipalities face in their daily operations, particularly concerning the implementation of recruitment and selection procedures and the handling of complaints.
The MLGA remains committed to collaborating with relevant institutions and partners to organize similar meetings and activities in the future, with the aim of addressing the needs of municipal officials, building professional capacity, and further improving efficiency within municipal administration.
