The Ministry of Local Government Administration (MLGA) has continued to carry out visits to
municipalities, with the aim of strengthening cooperation and supporting local institutions in
meeting European standards. This visit was carried out in the Municipality of Prishtina.
At this meeting, the MLGA team, consisting of the Head of the Division for European
Integration and representatives from the Ministry’s management, were welcomed by the
Acting Head of the Division for European Integration in the Municipality of Prishtina.
During the meeting, the challenges and recommendations of the Annual Report of the
European Agenda were discussed, as well as other important issues for the European
Integration process. This process aims to promote inter-municipal cooperation and advance
European integration by addressing challenges and implementing concrete
recommendations. In the meeting were also discussed other important topics such as local
economic development, capacity building in municipalities, etc.
MLGA will continue with other visits, providing institutional support and deepening
cooperation to fulfill the obligations of the European Agenda.
