On 20.05.2026, representatives from the Ministry of Local Government Administration (MLGA) participated in the panel discussion as part of Women’s Week 2026 in Suhareka, organized by the National Democratic Institute (NDI) in Kosovo.
In the meeting participated representatives from the Municipalities of the Prizren region, municipal councilors, the Agency for Gender Equality/Office of the Prime Minister and civil society.
During the meeting it was discussed about ways in which municipalities can create more favorable conditions for women’s employment through expanding community outreach activities, collaborating with the private sector and creating partnerships with employers to promote more inclusive and women-friendly practices in the workplace.
