The Ministry of Local Government Administration (MLGA) has continued to carry out visits to municipalities, with the aim of strengthening cooperation and supporting local institutions in meeting European standards. This visit was carried out in the Municipality of North Mitrovica.
At this meeting, the MLGA team, consisting of representatives of the Division for European Integration and representatives of other Divisions within the Ministry, were welcomed by the staff of the Municipality of North Mitrovica.
During the meeting were discussed the challenges and recommendations of the Annual Report of the European Agenda, the issue of the Municipality’s non-reporting for 2025, as well as other important issues. This process aims to promote inter-municipal cooperation and advance European integration by addressing challenges and implementing concrete recommendations. During the meeting were also discussed other important topics such as local economic development, capacity building in municipalities, etc.
MLGA will continue with other visits, providing institutional support and deepening cooperation to fulfill the obligations of the European Agenda.
