Inter-Ministerial Group for European Integration has held its next meeting

The Inter-ministerial Group for European Integration has held today its 11th meeting in Prishtinë/Priština.

The meeting was attended by the Prime Minister Hashim Thači, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Local Government, Slobodan Petrović, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of European Integration, Vlora Çitaku, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Justice, Hajredin Kuçi and Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Trade and Industry, Mimosa Kusari Lila.

The meeting was also attended by ministers and other relevant ministries.

Deputy Prime Minister Slobodan Petrović said that the municipal immovable property is important for the municipalities and that allocation for use of the immovable property facilitates the exercise of municipal authority and sustainable development of local economic development.
 

"Efficient, transparent and non-discriminatory management of the municipal immovable property is of particular importance for local authorities, particularly for the citizens. Municipal authorities while allocating immovable property for use should strictly respect the key principles related to guaranteeing the public interest, increasing property values, preserving unique property values, protecting  the local environment and other issues that are of special importance for the citizens and their socio-economic prosperity", has said the Deputy Prime Minister.

Minister Petrović has reiterated that the Ministry of Local Government Administration shall continue to provide ongoing support to the municipalities aimed at full implementation of all legal obligations.
