The Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Local Government Administration, Slobodan Petrovic together with the Acting Head of the European Commission Liaison Office to Kosovo, Khaldoun Sinno have participated in the signing ceremony of the Financing Agreement of the Cross-Border Cooperation Programme between Kosovo and Albania, signed by the ministers of the European Integration, Vlora Citaku and Majlinda Bregu.

The Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Local Government Administration, Slobodan Petrovic together with the Acting Head of the European Commission Liaison Office to Kosovo, Khaldoun Sinno have participated in the signing ceremony of the Financing Agreement of the Cross-Border Cooperation Programme between Kosovo and Albania, signed by the ministers of the European Integration, Vlora Citaku and Majlinda Bregu.
The Deputy Prime Minister has said that this agreement is a good project, not only for the two Governments but also for the citizens of Kosova and Albania, as well as for the citizens of the region.
“With today’s event, we want to advance our relations; we want to build bridges; put borders behind us. The today’s event will improve our cooperation and will make the life of citizens easier”, has said the Deputy Prime Minister.
The Minister Petrovic has added that it is very necessary to further advance the communication and improve already good relations between Kosovo and Albania.
“I hope that one day all borders in Ballkan will be open and will not be a burden to anyone, regardless of nationality. I think that this project will give a huge contribution in this direction”, has said the Deputy Prime Minister.
