The Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Local Government Administration, Slobodan Petrovic has met today with the newly appointed EC Liaison Office Head of Operations Section, Mr. Christof Stock.
During this meeting, Minister Petrovic and Mr. Stock has discussed about the hitherto cooperation of the European Commission and Ministry of Local Government Administration, and have hence agreed that it is necessary to work towards the realization of the common goal and better prospects for all citizens of Kosova, in order to provide a better life for citizens.

The Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Local Government Administration, Slobodan Petrovic has met today with the newly appointed EC Liaison Office Head of Operations Section, Mr. Christof Stock.
During this meeting, Minister Petrovic and Mr. Stock has discussed about the hitherto cooperation of the European Commission and Ministry of Local Government Administration, and have hence agreed that it is necessary to work towards the realization of the common goal and better prospects for all citizens of Kosova, in order to provide a better life for citizens.
The Deputy Prime Minister has stressed that the decentralization process, which is not fully completed in the north, is the priority of the Ministry of Local Government Administration. Minister Petrovic has stressed that projects, which are essential for the citizens, will be implemented in a transparent manner.
“The real contact with citizens, who live in the north of Kosova was created for the first time after 12 years, while the ministry and Government are a partner and a donor, which until now was not possible. The participation of all partners towards the improvement of situation in the north is necessary in order to successfully establish the municipality of north Mitrovicë/Mitrovica. The role of the European Commission is particularly important” has said the Deputy Prime Minister.
Minister Petrovic has also added that he anticipates the assistance in the realization of better European perspective for all citizens of Kosova, as well as in the process of Euro Atlantic integration and hopes that the next progress report for Kosova will be positively evaluated and will also provide guidelines for more efficient work.
