The Deputy Prime Minister Petrovic has participated in the debate entitled "Challenges of Ahtisaari Plus Paradigm": What do the leaders of ethnic communities in Kosovo think?" which was organized by the Group for Legal and Political Studies.
Transparency towards the citizens is the key to reducing tensions," has said Deputy Prime Minister Petrovic at the beginning of this debate.
"While speaking about the dialogue Belgrade-Prishtinë/Priština, the Deputy Prime Minister Petrovic has said that citizens would not complain if the agreements are reached because they realized how the situation is when there is no agreement.
Stressing the importance of implementation in practice of Martti Ahtisaari package, the Deputy Prime Minister Petrovic has said that the implementation is more important than the letters on paper.
"I want to reiterate that the Ahtisaari plan is a good plan but it should be fully implemented and the implementation is much more important than the letters on paper," has said Mr. Petrovic.
Ideas and plans are welcomed but as such they must be public and accessible not only to officials but also to the public in order to get the most democratic way for our children”, has said the Deputy Prime Minister Petrovic.
The analyst Behlul Beqaj and representatives from the Group of Legal and Political Studies have also spoke in the debate entitled "Challenges of Ahtisaari Plus Paradigm: What do the leaders of ethnic communities in Kosovo think?"
