Për të dhënë mbështetjen dhe për të paraqitur problemet dhe sfidat me të cilat përballen gratë, Ministrja e Ministrisë së Administrimit të Pushtetit Lokal Adrijana Hodžić, në takim u bëri thirrje të gjithë të pranishmëve që me pjesëmarrjen e tyre dhe përkushtim më të madh të kontribuojnë në krijimin e kushteve më të mira dhe një pozite më të mirë të grave, si nga komuniteti egjiptian ashtu edhe nga komunitetet tjera në Kosovë.

MAPL në bashkëpunim me Agjencinë për Barazi Gjinore, e cila funksionon në kuadër të Zyrës së Kryeministrit, u ka dërguar shkresë të gjithë kryetarëve të komunave të respektojnë obligimin për zbatimin e Ligjit për Barazi Gjinore në Kosovë. Sipas raportit të progresit për Kosovën 2019, është arritur përparim në qeverisjen lokale, sidomos në pozicionet e drejtorëve në organet komunale ekzekutive, ku përqindja e grave është rritur nga 11% në 19%. Në 31 nga 38 komunat, komisionet e paguara përfshijnë një numër barabartë të grave dhe burrave, siç parashihet në Ligjin për barazinë gjinore. Megjithëse përfaqësimi i grave në pozita vendimmarrëse mbetet një sfidë, duke përfshirë pozitën e grave nga komuniteti egjiptian”, tha Hodžić.
