Based on the decision of the Government, the Ministry of Local Government is responsible for setting the criteria and establishing a commission to assess the damage caused to residential buildings in municipalities due to floods.
The Ministry of Local Government will set the compensation criteria as soon as possible, respecting all legal regulations, while the inter-ministerial commissions will have the task to check for the level of damages and define the budget funds, based on the assessed situation. Based on the decision of the Government, the Ministry of Local Government formed two commissions:
1.Inter-ministerial commission for setting the criteria for compensation;
2.Inter-ministerial commission for verification of damage assessment at the request of municipalities.
The Ministry of Local Government remains committed to municipalities and solving all their problems.
