The Ministry of Local Government Administration in cooperation with the Office for Good Governance within the Office of the Prime Minister, as well as supported by the OSCE Mission in Kosovo, held an informative meeting with municipal officials for public consultations on the topic ‘Information on the process of publishing draft documents on the official websites of the municipalities and on the Public Consultation Platform at the central level ‘.
The meeting was very constructive, with participants showing interest about the topic. Additionally, the meeting was considered necessary for municipal officials for public consultations, and therefore a need arose to organize a training in the field of public consultations. As conclusions from the meeting came out that:
• there should be a training organized, designated for public consultation officers;
• there should be considered the possibility of amending/supplementing the Administrative Instruction for minimum public consultations standards.
