The Minister of Local Government Administration, Elbert Krasniqi in the conference on “allocation of resources of special benefit to communities” organized by the Prime Minister’s Office for Community Affairs, mentioned in his speech some of the challenges and the problems that the Egyptian, Ashkali and Roma communities face in the field of education, employment and social welfare.
Minister Krasniqi, also mentioned some of the projects and initiatives of MLGA in strengthening the role of communities at local level and the improvement of the infrastructure in the community inhabited neighborhoods though the MLGA program for financing infrastructure projects for communities.
At the end, Minister Krasniqi emphasized that the institutional and social engagement should continue in order to create new mechanisms and strengthen the current ones, to improve the socio-economic situation in the communities.
