Ministria e Administrimit të Pushtetit Lokal në bashkëpunim me donatorët e saj, Ambasadën e Zvicrës, Suedisë dhe Norvegjisë, në një ceremoni të organizuar kanë përmbyllur procesin e ndarjes së Grantit të Performancës Komunale për vitin fiskal 2021. Kjo ngjarje është zhvilluar në praninë e Kryeministrit të Kosovës z. Albin Kurti, Ministrit të MAPL-së z. Elbert Krasniqi, ambasadorëve të tri qeverive donatorë të Grantit të Performancës, kryetarëve të komunave, Auditorit të Përgjithshëm, shoqërisë civile dhe mediave.
Kryeministri Albin Kurti në fjalën e tij të rastit theksoi se “Zhvillimi i sistemit për menaxhimin e performancës komunale është një ide e pranueshme dhe mjaft e rëndësishme për komunat. Sisteme të tilla lehtësojnë përpjekjet për arritjen e standardeve ligjore, nxisin konkurrencën, fuqizojnë transparencën dhe bëjnë që sjelljet e punonjësve të përqendrohen në arritjen e caqeve të synuara. 4.35 milionë të grantit të performancës në këtë periudhë jo të lehtë për shkak të pasojave të pandemisë, është një vlerë e mirëpritur për 21 komunat përfituese. Në bazë të raportit vlerësues, për këtë grant janë kualifikuar 21 komuna të cilat kanë arritur t’i përmbushin kushtet minimale në bazë të Rregullave të GPK-së, derisa renditja e tyre është bërë në bazë të pikëve të arritura në 29 tregues të grantit. Me këtë rast, u ndanë 4 çmimet për komunat me performancën më të mirë, ku në vendin e parë është kualifikuar komuna e Gllogocit, në vendin e dytë Komuna e Obiliqit, derisa në vendin e tretë janë radhitur 2 komuna, ajo e Lipjanit dhe Obiliqit. Për 21 komunat përfituese, janë ndarë 4.35 milion euro, prej tyre 1.5 milion nga buxheti i MAPL-së, 1,260,000 nga qeveria e Zvicrës, 713,000 qeveria suedeze dhe 877,000 nga qeveria norvegjeze. Komunat përfituese kanë parashtruar kërkesat e tyre për financim të shprehura me 60 projekte të cilat janë përcjellë me marrëveshje trepalëshe të bashkëfinanicmit.
