    Në këtë konferencë, Zëvendëskryeministri  i  Kosovës dhe Ministri i Administrimit të Pushtetit Lokal, z. Slobodan Petrovic,  prezantoi punen e tij njëmuajshe si dhe paralajmëroi proceset me prioritet mbi të cilat do te realizohet plani i MAPL-së gjatë këtij viti.

    Si pikë të parë të prezantimit të aktiviteteve njëmuajshe të tij,  Zëvendëskryeministri Petrovic tha se ka vizituar 16 komuna të Kosovës ku është njohur për afërmi me problemet dhe sfidat me të cilat po ballafaqohen komunat dhe se do ti mbështesë komunat në realizimin projekteve me prioritet.

    Lidhur me realizimin e procesit të decentralizimit dhe reformën në pushtetit Lokal, z. Petrovic tha se do të vazhdojë të punojë më intensitet të shtuar në  fuqizimin  komunave dhe realizimin e procesit të decentralizmit bashkë me institucionet vendore dhe ndërkombëtare.

    Po ashtu Zëvendëskryeministri Petrovic, njoftoi se në mbledhjen e fundit të Grupit Ndërministror për Decentralizmin  është marr vendimi për ndryshimin e termave të referencës së Ekipit Përgatitor Komunal të Mitrovicës së Veriut, si është rekomanduar hartimi i një plani të veçantë për aktivitetet që do të zhvillohen në Mitrovicën e Veriut në vitin 2011.  Po ashtu, së shpejti në Mitrovicën e Veriut do të hapet zyra e EPK, së bashku me zyrën e MAPL.
